Six months later, Danny emailed his report: “I am taking this opportunity to let you know how much I appreciate what you did for me when I burned myself this year. It was January 28th 2020 and I was cooking dinner for myself and my wife. I had a cast iron skillet in the oven for 20 minutes at 450 degrees. It was time to take it out of the oven, so I grabbed a potholder and took the skillet out and set it on the counter top. I went about placing the vegetables and potatoes onto the plates and then grabbed the handle of the skillet without using a potholder. Why I didn’t use the potholder I couldn’t say, but suffice it to say I burnt my hand terribly. The burn was in two places on the palm of my hand, one in the center of the palm and the other on the pad of my hand just below the thumb. I knew instantly that it was a pretty serious burn and it hurt terribly.

My wife quickly put some ice in a bowl of water and I stuck my hand in it for five minutes or so. That alone seemed to intensify the burning feeling. One evening while making dinner for my father, she roasted pork chops, and they were thick. She braised them and then put the pan in the oven to finish. She took out the pan when she felt they were done putting it on the stovetop. Without thinking, perhaps preoccupied with other things on the stove, she grabbed the steel handle on the pan. She knew the burn was going to be bad. Her pain level was 7-8 almost instantly. She immediately ran her hand under cool water. She let me know what she had done and I called the fire doctor. I left the message and received a call back shortly thereafter. On the return call I was told that she should take it out of the water and don’t do anything else with it. 

In a very short amount of time, the pain was subsiding significantly. The color difference could be seen visibly where the contact with the panhandle was made. It looked like it was going to be blistered badly. It never did blister. In fact, the pain had gone down to maybe a two. This was in the course of 30 minutes at most. The quick recovery was, short of a better word, miraculous. 

Thirty-six hours later there was almost no sign of a burn or pain. My wife is still in awe that this actually worked. I would just like to thank the FBD team for such courteous and understanding patience. Their work is nothing that I have ever witnessed before. I will tell the story and have people put this very important number on their computers or contacts. "Burn - Call If You Get Burned - I thought was a joke!"

Erin burned her shoulder with an icepack and texted the FireBurnDoctor two days after when a nurse friend gave her the phone number. When the FBD team called her back two minutes later, they told Erin the protocol is to call within 30 minutes of burn injury. Erin said her pain level was 7 (on the scale of 0 to 10), and the FBD team agreed to help her anyway.

 

The next day, Erin texted to tell the FBD team that her pain was now zero, adding, “Zero burning irritation and much reduced bruising, Thank you so much.”

 

One day later, Erin emailed her report: “I never have time to ice my back when it hurts, it’s either too late and I have to go to bed, or I just pop a pill for any ache and pain. On Saturday night, I propped myself on my bed to watch some TV with a frozen plastic bag of gel under my right shoulder - no towel or cloth or anything between my skin and ice. I had a lot of muscular pain and tension, and the ice felt so good, I closed my eyes and dozed off. I woke up about an hour later, and moved the bag, I thought the edges were chafing me and they probably were . . . so I removed the bag. I ignored the burning sensation and chalked it up to my nerves activating after being iced.

 

Sunday morning and through the day, I felt more of the burning sensation and deep pain but ignored it. Took an Advil in order to sleep that night. On Monday morning, after completing chores and cooking, I took a hot shower. I became hyper aware of my back as I dried off with my towel. My right upper back was so sensitive, it felt raw and I decided to look in the mirror. I was shocked to find a deep bruise. It looks like there’s some inner bleeding. Now, upon looking at my back, the burning sensation and pain is all the much more. I took a painful pic of the bruise and sent it to my friend Grace, to see if she could move some patterns for me, but more than that, she’s got a background in nursing.

She gave me a contact on my phone that I thought was a joke, she sent it as “Burn Call If You Get Burned”. So I decided to text anyway. I got a response right away. Was told that the protocol is to establish contact within 30 minutes of a burn but that they would try the protocol if I wanted. I did. I was afraid of the skin on my back, it really felt like an open wound. I supplied the detailed they asked, including from 1-10 of the level of pain (mine was at 7 for me). And that was it.

The next day “Burn Call If You Get Burned” asked me if the pain was gone. I was blown away. I had forgotten of the pain today! Very grateful.”

Boy's Pain GONE in an hour!

Eight-year-old Sebastian burned his right calf on the hot exhaust of his motorcycle and his mother called the FireBurnDoctor within ten minutes. When the FBD team called her back five minutes later, Sebastian's mom said his pain level was 6 (on the scale of 0 to 10).

 

One and a half hours later, Sebastian himself called to say, "My leg isn’t hurting!”

 

Two weeks later, Sebastian's mother emailed their report: “Again, thank you for all that you do! This is about the fourth time we have called over the last year and a half. I was so happy my partner had met someone in Costa Rica years ago and gave him the number. He has been sharing it since and I have been doing the same. This time, Sebastian, my 8 1/2 yr old, burned his leg on the exhaust of sitting motorcycle. It was a rectangular patch on his calf that was not too heavily burned but enough to expect redness for a few days. Because we have called the Burn Doctor before, we did so immediately without placing anything on the burn as directed in the past. No ice or creams or essential oils. Anything applied slows the healing process. From a 1-10 range of pain, Isaac said he was at a 6. 

 

Within the hour pain was not a part of any discussion as we continued to play outside and there was no wound of any sort in the morning. For the follow up call an hour or so after the first call, I was able to report his pain level was a 1 and the leg had a small pinkish patch.

Child’s Burn GONE overnight!

 

Late one night, two-year-old Mila burned her fingers on a hot light bulb and her mother called the FireBurnDoctor for help. When the FBD team called them back two minutes later, Mila was screaming and her mother said her pain level was 4 (on the scale of 0 to 10), adding that "She is just frightened by it. I can barely see any mark". The FBD team suggested they do something to distract the child and call back in an hour with the update.

 

When the FBD team called the next day, Mila’s mother said, “Mila is fine now, we’re in the car and can’t talk”.

3-year-old tells Mom to CALL THE FIREBURNDOCTOR!

Three-year-old Adrian burned his thumb on a burning stick of incense and his mother called the FireBurnDoctor within ten minutes. When the FBD team called them back sixteen minutes later, Adrian’s mother said his pain level was 5 (on the scale of 0 to 10). Later that day, Adrian’s mom reported that her son’s pain was gone an hour after calling the FBD for help.

 

That same day, Adrian’s mother emailed FOUR Instant Burn Recovery Reports! “These are just four accounts of probably 10 or more times I have called the FBD team. I never treat burns with cold water or anything else anymore and I tell all my friends and family about them. Sad that so many of them don't believe me! THANK YOU FIRE BURN DOCTOR!!!!! April 9th, 2020 - My toddler son again burnt his little thumb on the right hand, this time from touching a burning stick of palo santo (a type of incense/ smudge). He knows about the Fire Burn Doctor very well by now (lol) and he asked me to call them... mind you he is almost 3 years old. I called and about an hour afterward my son said, "Mama! My thumb feels better now!"

 

January 2020 - My little toddler touched a very hot cast-iron pan as I was cooking. His pain level was probably about a 4 from what I could tell. I called the FBD team and his pain was gone within ten minutes.

 

September 2019 - I was making ghee, which is the process of clarifying butter by boiling it. Boiling oil reaches extremely high temperatures. A series of events happened which led to me accidentally pouring the entire gallon of boiling hot oil over my entire right hand, palm side. I had a moment of "holy crap; this is going to be a really bad one," and then I remembered the Fire Burn Doctor team! I was running my hand under cold water as I dialled them. Once I left a message and they called back, they said to stop with the cold water and recommended that I don't treat the burn with aloe or anything else.

 

I complied and at the time my pain level was about an 8. About 15 minutes later my pain level was down to a 2 and within 45 minutes the pain was gone. When I spoke to the Fire Burn Doctor team later that afternoon as they checked up on me, my hand started tingling again because I was thinking about it. Other than that I just forgot about it and went on with my day. Again, this situation would normally result in extremely bad blistering and scarring. My hand was completely fine and I had NO blisters, marks, or anything resembling a burn whatsoever. SERIOUSLY such a miracle. I will forever call the FBD team for any burns me and my family experience.

 

Winter of 2018 - My partner at the time tripped and accidentally placed his hand on the extremely hot surface of our wood burning stove. His hand at first looked like it should develop 3rd degree burns and he was in a lot of pain, maybe a 7 or 8? I immediately called the Fire Burn Doctor team and within less than 5 minutes his pain was down to a 1 or 2. Within 30 minutes his pain was totally gone and he had absolutely zero blistering, redness, NOTHING! It was truly a miracle, this situation would normally produce very bad scarring etc.

Avery burned her finger checking on sweet potatoes baking in the hot oven and called the FireBurnDoctor within twenty minutes. When the FBD team called her back eight minutes later, Avery said her pain level was 10 (on the scale of 0 to 10). One hour and twenty minutes later, Avery called to say, that her pain level was a ___, adding, “It’s like a miracle, it barely hurts at all, just a little red, thank you.”

 

Eleven days later, Avery emailed her report: “I just want to thank you all for helping me with my burn. A few nights ago, I burned myself checking sweet potatoes in the oven. I touched the skin and it went through the skin and into the yam. I put my finger in a glass of ice cold water and I couldn’t stand the pain. Finally after 20 minutes or so I went outside to tell my husband that my finger was on fire. He calmly said let’s call the Fire Dr on the phone.

 

We did so immediately and gave my information to the gentlemen on the phone. My finger was on fire burning and I knew it would be big blister. The pain was probably a 10 at the time of the call. He politely asked to take my finger out of ice water and he would take care of me.

 

Within 1 hour it was like a miracle, almost no pain! I couldn’t believe it, not even red anymore and next morning NO sign of a burn at all. That is my story and I’m sticking to it. You see I had used them before but had forgot all about this FIRE DOCTOR! Thank God my husband still had their number in his phone. I have now shared this Number with all my friends and relatives. Thanks again & I thank God for you!!!

“From boiling water to no redness in less than 24 hrs – that's unheard of!”

 

Eight-year-old Ezra burned the inside of his right calf with boiling water and his father texted the FireBurnDoctor within five minutes. When the FBD team called them back two minutes later, Ezra’s dad said Ezra’s pain level was 10 (on the scale of 0 to 10) when he first called and already dropped to a 5.

 

Two hours later, the FBD team called Ezra’s father who said that Ezra’s pain was now ZERO, adding, “No pain ten minutes after the last call. He is watching TV with no discomfort, “Thank you so much”.

 

Six weeks later, Ezra’s father emailed his report: “My 8-year-old son spilled boiling water on his leg while doing Easter egg activities. The water hit about six-inch portion of his lower leg. My wife began to run cold water over (which I later discovered only made the skin blister). Within a couple minutes I contacted the fire burn doctor and got a response within minutes. I gave the doc the necessary information and begin to track the progress of my son. At the time of the burn he said the pain level was 10 and was not lowering. Within minutes of the fire burn doc call his pain was down to a 5.

Two hours later my son said the pain was down to a 0 and was watching a show with seemingly no discomfort. The rest of the day my son was comfortable and slept that night with no issues. When he woke up the next morning, less than 24 hrs from the initial burn, I was shocked to see all the redness had disappeared. From boiling water to no redness in less than 24 hrs- that's unheard of! We are so grateful for the miracles the fire burn doctor is performing making there be a lot less suffering in this world. Roman burned his hand on a hot glass stove element and called the FireBurnDoctor within five minutes. When the FBD team called him back eleven minutes later, Roman said his pain level was 8 (on the scale of 0 to 10), when he first called and had already dropped to 4.

The next day, Roman called to say that he had no pain within an hour and no blistering when he woke up this morning, adding, “It looks like it never happened! It's a miracle!"

“He went so quickly from screaming and writhing to being very calm, and then he asked to go to bed.”

Eight-year-old Marvin burned his hand on a hot fire prodding stick and his mother called the FireBurnDoctor within fifteen minutes. When the FBD team called her back nineteen minutes later, Marvin’s mother said his pain level was 10 (on the scale of 0 to 10), when she first called and had already dropped to 5.

 

One hour and thirty-nine minutes later, Marvin’s mother called to say that the burn was more extensive than she first thought but that Marvin is sleeping now.

The next day, Marvin’s mother called to say that his pain was now zero, adding, “My son is in very good spirit. And you know I asked him about it, and I don’t think he would let me touch it, but he is certainly not feeling in pain at all and so that is wonderful. Thank you so much!”

 

Two days later, Marvin's mother emailed their report: “On Saturday night my family was enjoying a fire in the backyard. The fire prodding stick had just come out of the hot coals and been placed on the ground and my 8 year old son picked it up from the hot end. He screamed piercingly and we put his hand straight in the nearby pool. I messaged a group of mums whose opinions I trust to see if there was anything I should do before we get him to bed, knowing that 10 hours would pass before we applied any additional treatment. 

One suggested I call the Fire Burn Doctor. This was the first I had heard of the Fire Burn Doctor. We called about 30 minutes after the burn happened, his hand would have been in water for that long. I've since learned that this would've caused the blisters in the photo.

What has been incredible, is his pain levels. When I called he was in level 10 pain, especially when we removed his hand from water (which was giving him some relief at that point). He went so quickly from screaming and writhing to being very calm, and then he asked to go to bed. What a relief at a stressful time.

He slept soundly and when he woke the next day said he wasn't in pain. As the day wore on, he did say that his blisters were hurting, He hasn't taken any pain relief at all since his burn. I will definitely call the Fire Burn Doctor again if we have another burn, I imagine the results would be even better if hadn't kept his hand in water all that time. That said, we can handle some temporary blisters, massively reduced pain levels made a huge difference here. I've attached a photo of when his hand came out of the water (you can see that his skin is wet and wrinkly there) and again around 12 hours later. Thank you to everyone involved. Kind regards....”

Four days later, Marvin’s mother emailed an update: “Hi. Thought I’d send an update. I last updated you on Monday saying that my son’s blisters were hurting. A few hours later they ‘popped’ and he was momentarily in pain. I suggested in put a bandaid on them. He just removed the bandaids and his hands are looking great. He pressed on the skin where he was burned and has no pain. Thank you again, I’m so grateful for your assistance.”
