At about 3:30 pm, Pacific Time, Seth's wife called to report his burned hands. When FireBurnDoctor team called back to confirm details, Seth himself described his pain level as an 8 on a scale of 0 to 10. After he burned his left palm and right thumb and index finger on hot debris from a small house fire, they didn't call FireBurnDoctor until an hour after the burn -- Seth had to get on the computer to find the number! About 5 hours later, he said his pain level was 0. There were residual blisters on his left palm and right middle finger, but absolutely no pain with those blisters. He asked how it's done and said, "Thank you so much" and "I'm feeling it, thank you."Seth W., Massachusetts, 1/31/10
At 9:09 p.m., Pacific Time, Nancy splashed boiling water on her left thumb and knuckles. She called FireBurnDoctor within 2 minutes, with an initial pain level of 7-8 on a scale of 0 to 10. By the time the FireBurnDoctor team called her back about 7 minutes later, she said her pain level dropped to "1 to 1 1/2, maybe a 2." It was still warm, and "still stinging a little." Nancy is a massage therapist whose hands are important to her. She said, "this was a bad enough burn to definitely warrant a call." "Thank you!!!" The next day, Nancy awoke to find her hand felt and looked "as if nothing had happened!"Nancy Q, Arizona, 2/7/10
At 4:15 p.m., Pacific Time, Chris placed his hand on a hot pressure washer motor. In agony, he called FireBurnDoctor within 2 minutes of the burn. In his own words, "I just stuck my hand on a F#@#ing pressure washer motor right now -- burning hot and my whole F#@#ing hand's on fire right now.... It really, really F#@#ing hurts bad!" On his voice recording, it sounded like a pain level of 10 on a scale of 0 - 10! You can listen here... tape-recorded burn report! (note: authentic painful language)
Exactly one hour and 52 minutes from the time of the burn, Chris called again to say, "I just wanted to call and report back to you about the pressure washer burning my hand off. When I called you, dude, I was on my way down to the Rite Aide; and when I called I was in excruciating pain and I couldn't even think straight. My whole hand was throbbing, and it was like, really bad, dude. I don't know what you did, but I love you man! Thank you so much, you completely... I don't know how you did it; I don't know what you did. But whatever you're doing, works. I'm going to tell all my friends, call all my family and tell every one of them, and give everyone your number, dude. Whatever you did... I don't know, but my hand's, like, not even red anymore, dude. The only thing you can tell that I got burned is because my skin looks like it got, like, wrinkly, but I really will admit, there's a little sensation, but my pain is like a one, less than that, less than one, like one and less, some times it's a one, but most of the time it's less. But dude, thank you so much! Wow, it's amazing. I don't know what you did, but you're great, dude. Thank you."
Three hours later, Chris called again, with a friend, "This thing is amazing, dude. I don't know what you did, or how this is happening, but, dude, I love you!.. fantastic! I can't even tell that ... [asking the friend] Can you even tell if there's anything wrong with my hand? ['No'] Like nothing even happened. I should have taken a picture, because before it looked like my whole hand was blistered, like it looked like it was going to blister up, it was all swollen and all red. There's nothing wrong with my hand! Like nothing had happened to it." No pain, no grafting, no scarring.

At 8:24 p.m., Pacific Time, Elena splashed hot butter on her face while cooking. This was her second time calling FireBurnDoctor for a burn, so she knew to call immediately and did so within 1 or 2 minutes of the burn. Her pain level was an 8 on a scale of 0 to 10. About an hour later, Elena reported that, "It doesn't hurt any more. So it's like a, I don't know, like a 2? I can still feel one bigger drop, but it doesn't hurt anymore. I want to say thank you." She said her pain had disappeared 20 minutes after calling FireBurnDoctor and she forgot about the burn.
Later Elena emailed to explain, "So this is the second time I called, again for a minor burn, but I have no pain resulting from that one call I made to the fire burn doctors. They were prompt and sounded concerned about the condition I was in. It was easy to do. I made sure I called within the 30 mins so I can get taken care of as soon as possible. My burn was located on the face from cooking. A splash of hot butter did the trick. Two drops on the face and it started to burn and sting. After 20 mins from calling the Fire Burn Doctors, the pain was gone. I noticed my burns were quickly starting to heal themselves by developing a protective layer over the red skin. Thank you and I will spread the word!"

Rory called FireBurnDoctor after he burned himself with boiling hot water that splashed all over his face and arms and called. About a half hour later, he reported that his pain level had dropped from a 6 to a 3 on a scale of 0 to 10, and then disappeared for the rest of the day. The next day, Rory emailed to say, "Well the burn that was on my forearm is pain free and not visible any more. The burn on my bicep has mostly cleared up, but is a bit tender and slightly visible. The burn on my face is only visible on my eyelid which is only painful when touched. What happened was making tea as usual. The water was boiling when I was trying to move it from the pot into my tea kettle. I some how lost grip on the boiling water, it fell and hit the corner of the stove and splashed most of the boiling water on me. It hit the right side of my face, right forearm, and left bicep. The rest of the water ended up on the kitchen floor with my left foot sitting in a puddle. A few seconds of shock, left me standing there processing what just happened. ...My friend then sent me your information as I was explaining to her what happened. I slept most of the day yesterday after the incident. Thank you!!!"Rory C., California, 1/21/10
At 10:50 am, EST, Bert burned his left fingers on hot glass at work as a glassblower and called FireBurnDoctor a few minutes after the burn. His pain was a 6 or 7 on a scale of of 0 to 10. About one hour later, he reported that he was feeling much better and that the pain level was now "maybe a 2" and that he was "definitely impressed. "Thank you guys." An hour and a half later after that, Bert called again to say, "I still notice it a little bit. It's probably down to a 1 where it started out as a 6 or a 7. Feels great. I can still notice the tightness of it, but as far as the burn -- It's almost not there. Alrighty, Thank you."Bert G., Virginia, 1/18/10
The very next day! At 9:25 am, EST, Bert, the glassblower, called FireBurnDoctor with a new burn, worse than before! This day the pain level was 8 on a scale of 0 to 10 and he wasted no time to call... just one minute from the time of the burn. Bert said, "Yesterday's burn is completely gone and forgotten," but that he works with hot glass and burns are part of the job. Despite having to continually put his burned hand near the heat during the work day and admitting that "it's getting abused," Bert called back 3 hours later to report that, "It is doing much, much better. It was probably at an 8 when I did it. It's probably a 2 now. It's working real well. Anyway, I just wanted to let you guys know. Thank you."
Fifteen hours after the burn, Bert sent this email: "I've been a glassblower for over 30 years and after hearing the Coast to Coast program, I programmed the number in my phone. After a few months I burned my left thumb and forefinger and called it in, pain was maybe a 6 or 7, overall not a bad burn so I had kind of a hard time telling if it was just natural or the burn doctor when it felt better later. But the very next day, I again burned my left thumb and forefinger, much worse this time. Pain at least an 8 with a good mark. Within 2 or 3 hours I was working without any pain at all. It is still a little sensitive but no pain. Amazing"
