Abigail burned her wrist when hot chicken grease splattered on it and called the FireBurnDoctor within 2 mintues. When the FBD team called her back 8 minutes later, she said her pain before her call was 7 (on the scale of 0 to 10), and had now dropped to 3. Her mom then got on the phone to say she had heard about the FireBurnDoctor from a stranger on the bus and exclaimed that, “This is just amazing. Ingrid burned her hand on a hot metal pan and her cousin texted the FireBurnDoctor within 10 minutes. When the FBD team called them back 3 minutes later, Ingrid said her pain before the text was 5 (on the scale of 0 to 10), and had now dropped to 0, adding, "it has gone down, doesn't really hurt at all now, sorry. I’ve had it in and out of water." When the FBD team called an hour and a half later, the cousin said Ingrid was now sleeping, but her pain had gone to 0 immediately, went back up to 4 after the callback, but was back to zero less than an hour from the callback. Three days later, Ingrid emailed her appreciation: "My pain went from around a 5-6 to a 0 in around an hour after calling your team when I burned my hand. Thanks again!"

Taylor burned her wrist when very hot cooking oil splashed on it from a pan sizzling on the stove, and called the FireBurnDoctor within 20 minutes. When the FBD team called her back 7 minutes later, she said her pain before her call was 8 (on the scale of 0 to 10), and had now dropped to 5-6. She added that she took so long to call because she had first tried splashing cold water onto the burn, then realized, “this thing hurts!” She didn’t have the number saved into her phone and had to start her computer and go to the FBD website to find it before calling, adding, "I'll definitely plaster the number everywhere now and put it into the phone.” About an hour later, Taylor called to say, “Interesting enough, the marks are fading. I can touch it. It doesn't hurt when I touch it. I still have a little sting, but nothing like it was. The three marks are fading. And the swelling is gone down. I'm so happy. Thank you." The FBD team called her back a few minutes later, to find that her pain level was now 2 and that she had kept testing it by tapping it and noticing it was still tender. Then she thought, “give it a break!" and said, “The heat felt by the other hand in proximity is gone. I've never had this kind of burn not blister. I'm older than dirt, had lots of burns and never had it heal like this. I'm so thrilled. Thank you so much! And I know from the [FBD]interview [she heard on radio] that it will continue to heal and be my normal arm. I bet you get lots of people giddy like this, especially compared to their first calls."

An hour later, Taylor emailed her report: "Thank you, thank you, thank YOU!
I called this afternoon approx: 20 minutes after receiving an oil burn while cooking. It spattered all across my wrist and kept burning and burning despite my 'home remedy' efforts to thwart it (the cold running water fix) but to no avail. Remembering FBD, I headed to my phone and realizing I could not get it via Information, I then searched my records while my computer was booting up since I had actually interviewed [FBD spokesperson] Allison on my radio show.... Finally obtaining the number via your website, I called, left the 5 items and received a call within a couple minutes. We confirmed my information and I was given the most peaceful instructions including to call back in an hour.

Alec burned his face and arm when hot grease splashed on him from the frying pan and texted the FireBurnDoctor within 5 minutes. About an hour later, Alex called to say, “The pain is completely gone, whereas before, when the grease burn started it felt like a really bad sunburn. But now it's completely gone. Thank you guys very much.” When the FBD team called him back 3 minutes after that, he added that “the appearance is gone also, not red at all. It was worse on my face, but also got my arm. It’s completely gone, Thank you."

Thirty minutes later, Alec emailed his report: “Fire Burn Doctor, I first heard of you through a radio program, and I wasn't sure how everything worked. I read your website and still felt skeptical. It wasn't until I tried it out for myself before I became a true believer. I was pan searing steaks on the oven and I was using grease, when all of a sudden there was a major grease pop and it went all over my face and arm. The burn felt pretty significant almost as if I had a bad sunburn where the grease hit my skin. Within 5 minutes I sent the Fire Burn Doctor a text which included my photo and my information. Diane burned her finger on hot glue and called the FireBurnDoctor within 7 minutes. When the FBD team called her back 13 minutes later, she said her pain before her call was 10 (on the scale of 0 to 10), and had now dropped to 7, adding that it was blistering and stinging, but going down, and that she knew about FBD from her daughter who had already used FBD herself. About two hours later, the FBD team called back and Diane said, it’s "not too bad. The pain is zero."

Mickey burned his fingers picking up a hot spoon and called the FireBurnDoctor within 4 minutes. When the FBD team called him back 5 minutes later, he said his pain before his call was 3.5 (on the scale of 0 to 10). About an hour later, Mickey called to say, "... reporting back about my burn. It's been about an hour now, and, yeah, the pain is much better. It's probably down to about a 1 1/2… Hey, thanks for doing what your doing.  I really appreciate it. Take good care." When the FBD team called him back 15 minutes later, Mickey said his pain was now 1, and asked about training in the FireBurnDoctor’s technique. Eleven hours later, Mickey emailed to say: “Fingers feel much better (out of ) 1-10 pain is now .25  Thanks."

Friend to the rescue! "Just amazing, now it feels great!"

Cecilia burned her fingers on a door handle while escaping a house fire. Her friend called the FireBurnDoctor an hour after the burn, to ask for help and saying, “it's a very bad burn on the left hand… It's a fairly painful, blistering, 2nd degree burn." When the FBD team called the friend back, she connected the call to Cecilia at the scene of the fire, where Cecilia said her pain before the first call to FBD was 9 without ice. An EMT had recommended she go to the hospital, but she didn’t have insurance so she didn't go. When the FBD team called Cecilia’s friend about 8 hours later, she said the hand was still wrapped, with gel applied, but they had been very active, needing to work cleaning up the house after the fire, lifting things. The friend said, adding, "She did forget about it, we've been busy, there's a lot to do after a house fire, just put on the bandages and gel so she wouldn't be noticing it. It seemed to help keep her mind off it because the pain was pretty intense. She's out doing 17 loads of laundry, for the smoke smell. But when she's back, we'll relax and I'll find out how she’s doing.” About three hours after that, the friend called to say,: "[Cecilia] reports a pain level of 2 or 3... hand is still blistered but not too much pain. Thanks!"

The next morning, Cecilia called to say, “I'm just calling as a follow-up from yesterday. I just wanted to let you know that my hand is healing quite nicely." When the FBD team called her back 5 minutes later, she said the pain had been a 2 at 8:00 pm the night before. When she woke up this morning, she found, “the skin was a little tight when I woke up, and a little sore, uncomfortable, but not painful. Thank you so much, amazing! I couldn't do anything yesterday without ice on it. Just amazing, now it feels great!”

Annabelle poured boiling homemade pudding over her hand and called the FireBurnDoctor within a few minutes. When the FBD team called her back 4 minutes later, she said her pain level before her call was 7-8 (on the scale of 0 to 10), and had now dropped to 2-3, adding she just had a baby and is not getting much sleep, which may be why she poured the hot pudding onto her hand instead of into the container. About an hour and a half after that, Annabelle called to say, “Hi Burn Team... I called earlier about a burn on my hand, and it feels a lot better. It's really feeling pretty good. I don't even have any ice on it right now, and it feels really good. And I'm using it to grab stuff. It's really amazing! So thank you so much. You guys are great! And we heard about you through 'Feet to the Fire,' which is a radio program. I think it's off-air now, but you did a program with them. And I also wanted to tell you, I could feel my hand sort of vibrating during the last hour or so. So that was really cool. Yeah, you guys are just wonderful. Thank you so much. Hopefully I can learn to do that someday. It's wonderful. Thank you."

Two hours later, Annabelle emailed her report: : "Hello Fire Team, Thank you so much for your help with my hand! How does someone become a healer? I'd love to learn!!! Here is my testimonial:
I was making homemade pudding, and was ladling the boiling pudding into cups. I was holding a cup, and instead of pouring the pudding in the cup, I just poured a huge scoopful into the palm of my cupped hand (Why would I do this? Who knows. Probably sleep deprivation from being a new mom :) ). My baby was sleeping, so I stood for a good 5 seconds holding the boiling hot pudding in my hand in shock –- thinking to myself 'don't scream and wake the baby.' Of course, then things kicked in and I started taking action (while screaming). My husband came inside and after helping me get some ice on it, told me to call the Burn Doctor. He had heard about you guys on a talk radio show. During the time that the burn doctor was helping me, I could feel my hand vibrating. I also felt a precise moment when, I'm guessing, the burn doctor started treatment, because it was a very specific moment of pain relief. Yaris burned her wrist on the hot oven door while cooking and called the FireBurnDoctor within 30 minutes. When the FBD team called her back 5 minutes later, she said her pain before her call had been 3 (on the scale of 0 to 10), and had now dropped to 2. About two hours later, Yaris called to say, "Hi, this is  [Yaris] calling back… And my burn, actually, I can't feel anything anymore, so just a little red mark. That's great! Thank you very much. Thanks."

A few minutes later, Yaris emailed her report: "I burned my wrist on the inside door of my stove and called fireburndoctor about twenty five minutes afterwards. My wrist was throbbing but not unmanageable, and there was a red mark about the size of a quarter. An hour and a half later there was no pain at all and the skin feels normal, though it is still red. Thanks!"

Nellie got rope burns on her fingers when her dog pulled too hard at the leash and texted the FireBurnDoctor within 4 minutes. When the FBD team called her back 5 minutes later, she said her pain before her texting was 8 (on the scale of 0 to 10), and had now dropped to 4. About 3 and a half hours later, Nellie called to say, "I'm just calling back with result. I had a rope burn earlier. Not a fire burn... It’s been more than an hour after I called earlier, and it doesn't hurt at all any more. And my skin feels a little tight where I had the rope burn. Thanks."

Four hours later, Nellie emailed her report: "This evening, at about 3:43 pm CST I received a rope burn to the backside of my pinky and ring finger. It immediately whelped up and blistered and was very, very sore like a burn. My dad had given me the fireburndoctor number about 6 months ago after hearing about it on a talk show on the radio. I decided it certainly couldn’t hurt to try it. As soon as I called and was giving the information over the phone, the pain was already subsiding. Nine-year old Lani burned her finger on a hot glue gun and her dad called the FireBurnDoctor within 15 minutes, adding that it “burned and burned.” When the FBD team called him back 5 minutes later, Lani just kept saying “it really hurt,” while the father said “right now the pain is not as much as before, based on her behavior.” An hour or so later, the FBD team called back and Lani's dad said she's, "100% good, zero pain, like it never happened. It went to zero about 10 minutes after we got home, about 10 minutes after we hung up.” Two hours after that, Lani's father emailed his report: “My 9 year old daughter burned her finger today at a church youth activity. She was using a glue gun to make a craft project when her finger came into contact with the hot tip. The hot glue continued to burn her for some time. I called Fire Burn Doctor, gave him my daughter's information, and within 10 minutes she had forgotten that she had ever been burned in the first place. The pain was gone. This was amazing. The next day, the FBD team called to follow up, only to hear Lani's dad say, "We just had a new baby yesterday [same day as the burn]! The burn was something extra that I just didn't want to have to deal with. So it was great to have your number to call.”

Dana burned her finger with a glue gun and called the FireBurnDoctor within 10 minutes. When the FBD team called her back 21 hrs later, she said her pain before her call was 8 (on the scale of 0 to 10), and had dropped to 0 in just over an hour.

"It started burning like I was on fire..."  Then, "there is no pain... When I awoke – all redness was gone!... God bless you!"

Sadie burned herself with a "hot" arthritis cream (chemicals) and texted the FireBurnDoctor within 5 minutes, writing: “put caspian on my back and hip and front of thighs, not much but it is burning like i am on fire. washed it off but its getting worse.” She then immediately called and left a voice message: “Hi, sorry to call so late. …it's burning SO bad. It's unbearable. I've already washed it off. But still, it's burning beyond belief. I'm wiping myself with a damp rag under a high speed fan… I've never felt this before. And it's completely red… it's my back all the way down to my buttocks and hips, and the front of my thighs. And I didn't even put that much on. Thank you very much.”

When the FBD team called her back 7 minutes after her initial text, Sadie said her pain before her text was 10 (on the scale of 0 to 10), and had now dropped to 8-9, adding that it was an immediate chemical burning from a product she had never used before and was surprised. She immediately washed it off in a cold water shower but it was still burning.

Ten hours later, Sadie emailed her first report, 10/12/12:

3:30am I had taken a shower and put on some Capzasin-HP arthritis cream (Capsaicin is the active ingredient in chili peppers that makes them hot) because of back pain and some on the front of my thighs as I have restless leg syndrome and sometimes made-for-arthritis topicals help.
This was the first time I have used this product. It wasn't on me even a full minute when it started burning like I was on fire. I got back in a cold shower and washed it off with soap. It still burned like I was on fire. It was a 10 pain level… At 3:49 I texted Fireburndoctor, because I did not want to disturb him at this late hour, but the pain was getting worse. At 3:52 I called and left a message. 3:56 He returned my call and got the information again as my voice was so shaky, it was hard to understand what I had said. This was considered  a chemical burn. During our 2 minute phone call, the pain literally dropped from the 10+ down to an 8 or a 7. At 4:15 the pain was gone! I am still very red – but there is no pain. Went to bed at 4:30am. When I think about the other night, the pain i was in and how it affected me AND think about how it would have gone down had I not known about you or called you - I would still be in some degree of pain even now!... Thanks to you I was able to have a great weekend! God bless you!"

Ronald burned himself working on his car and his step-mother texted the FireBurnDoctor within 15 minutes. When the FBD team called her back 2 minutes later, she said his pain before her text was a 7 (on the scale of 0 to 10)... and then explained that he said, "it doesn't hurt anymore. Thank you."

Erika burned her hand cooking on a hot skillet and called the FireBurnDoctor 4 hours later, saying "I burned my hand really bad this evening." When the FBD team called her back 4 minutes later, she said her pain before her call had been 8 (on the scale of 0 to 10), a 6 when the hand was in water, and now, when she took it out of the water to check, her pain had already dropped to 5. Then she explained what happened: she had been making a casserole and had just pulled it out of the oven when her curious granddaughter came into the kitchen and asked what she was doing. Erika grabbed the skillet to show her, forgetting to use the pot holder, and said two-thirds of her hand was badly burned where she grabbed the skillet handle. Unfortunately, she waited so long to call FBD because the phone number was in her old cell phone and she needed to find the charger before she could retrieve the number. She knew her call was well past 30 minutes from the burn, but she'd seen testimonials on the FBD.com website where hours had past before the first call and people had still gotten great results, so she called. Three hours later, Erika called to say, "The pain has subsided substantially now, but it took a long time to do it."

Fifteen hours after her first call, Erika called to report:  "[I'm] calling you back just to let you know that I am back to knitting and crocheting. I have absolutely no pain in my hand, and it appears to be healing nicely -- no blisters or anything like that. I thank you very much. It's amazing."

About an hour later, the FBD called again and Hugo said his lip was "much better" with the pain at 1, adding, "there's still a little tingling, I can tell it's getting better."

Three and a half hours after the burn, Hugo emailed his report: "Thank you Burn Doctor, I was cooking and some boiling water burnt my lower lip. I called the burn doctor number within 5 minutes and had a call back within minutes. While on the phone with them they confirmed my information. I have a high tolerance of pain; therefore, my pain level was around 3 to 4. Within an hour the pain level was around 1. Still a little numbness [now] and no signs of redness on my lip. Thank you...."

Thelma burned her finger on a hot iron and her daughter texted the FireBurnDoctor an hour or so later. When the FBD team called her back 8 minutes later, Thelma said her pain before the text was 4 (on the scale of 0 to 10), adding that it was on ice now, but the ice was painful. An hour after that, Thelma called to say, "I burned my finger on a clothing iron. And talked to you an hour ago, and got some good advice. And it's feeling great! I'm not slowing down in any of my activities. So thank you very much, and I certainly will pass this information on to other people I know that get burns. Good night."

Three days later, Thelma emailed her report: "Dear Fire Burn Doctor, What normally would have been a  painful left fore finger burn from clothes iron; has not been a problem after talking to the Fire Burn Doctor. Being a new advocate and not knowing about calling within a half hour - painfully used ice for 45 minutes until my daughter... arrived on the scene and gave me your #. One hour later, I completely forgot about the burn and marvel at the speedy recovery. Needless to say, the finger has been pain free and the 1/2" X 1/4" burn is only visible to me - cause I knew where it was seered by the hot iron. Remarkable cure ! Thank you for this healing process.
