UPDATES -- BURN CASE REPORTS, p. 18
On this new page of "Instantly Recovered" Burn Reports, you will see that there are a whole bunch of new burn cases from one place (Minnesota)... and a couple each from two others (Connecticut, Oregon, and Costa Rica). This is because people are telling their friends and family, LOCALLY, what to do when they get burned: just call the FireBurnDoctor... immediately! Whether they heard about FBD from a radio show, or an email or from a neighbor, the word is finally getting out -- grassroots fashion: friends telling friends, word of mouth... worldwide!
PLEASE DO YOUR PART -- TELL ALL, JUST CALL

Late one night, a friend spilled very hot tea on Eleanor. Another friend, who had the FireBurnDoctor phone number programmed into his phone under 'Burns', was there and made the call immediately. Eleanor didn't understand what was happening or why her details were needed, but gave her information with her friend's prompts. Within a few minutes the FBD team called her back to find that Eleanor's pain level had already dropped from 3-4 (on a scale of 0 to 10) to a 2. An hour later, Eleanor called back to report that her pain had dropped to a 0 and it "looked less red," and that "I feel better, thank you.... Thank you burn doctor, you're my honey." The next morning, Eleanor called to report that her pain stayed at zero through the rest of that evening and then into the morning. She thanked the FireBurnDoctor again, stating that the previous evening was "such a mind blowing experience."

Ian had called FireBurnDoctor for help before, so he knew to call immediately when he burned himself again, this time his arm touching a hot pot. When the FBD team called him back, he said it was a 2nd degree burn and his pain level was a 3-4 (on a scale of 0 to 10). About an hour later, Ian called to report: "She's about at a 1. Actually I'd forgotten about it, so thank you again!" He then added, "Man, it looks terrible, but feels fine. This surprises me because the previous burn disappeared immediately, but it was 3rd degree.... The skin fell off, but I was able to have my hand in the oven twice and washed dishes. I thought to myself, 'This is ridiculous! It looks like hamburger but I can do these things without problem or pain.' I can't thank you enough. If there's anything I can do to help, let me know, you guys have an amazing service." Five days later, Ian emailed his final report: "A couple of days ago I managed to put my arm against a pot of boiling water and received a 2nd degree burn. It immediately blistered and hurt pretty bad. I called you folks as soon as I could and the pain began to dissipate quickly. In a very short time the pain was gone. After that it was more like having an abrasion (because of the raw, damaged skin) but the persistent pain that accompanies a burn was gone! It's several days later and it's healing very nicely. I can't thank you folks enough for the amazing work you're doing, and for the help you've given me twice now! Bless You. [Ian]."
Ian H, Minnesota, 1/8/12
Fran burned her hand when she grabbed a hot pan handle and immediately called the FireBurnDoctor, who she had heard about from her Reiki practitioner. When the FBD team called her back about 5 minutes later, her pain level had already dropped from a 7-8 (on a scale of 0 to 10) to a 4-5. About an hour later, Fran called to report: "[I'm] calling to follow up an hour later, and I'd say my pain is at a 1-2.... Thank you so much. Good night." The next morning, about ten hours later, Fran called again: "I just wanted to report to you that this morning I have no redness, no pain, nothing -- like I didn't even get burned at all. So I was really excited about that and wanted to call and tell you that, it worked! Thank you! again."
Fran C., Oregon, 1/9/12
Victor tells his own story in a couple detailed emails after he burned his fingers grabbing a hot electric burner and called the FireBurnDoctor within 8 minutes of the burn injury. The first report came in about an hour after his first call: "I'm calling back to leave an update on the burn on my index finger and thumb after an hour. This is quite remarkable. There is no pain on my thumb. No blister has formed. On the index finger, a blister is forming, but I can tell it's much smaller, or will be much smaller than it would have been otherwise. The pain level, I believe I reported a 7 to 8 before, currently I'd say it's about a 4 to 5. And I did nothing. I didn't apply water or ice or anything to it since we talked last. The pain fluctuates a bit. It may go up to a 5 or 6 at moments. But I must say that, without whatever it is you guys do, I would expect this would be in a much worse condition. So I want to thank you very much!"
The next day Victor emailed to describe the experience as, "Just unbelievable! No mark on the thumb and no pain half an hour after the first call. The index finger had a little white where a blister had been expected, but no blister and no pain. Thank you so much. What is it you guys do? This turned out so much better than I expected would happen when I grabbed that burner."
Two days after the burn, he emailed a final report: "I want to thank you for helping me with the burn I gave myself the other day. Here is what happened. I grabbed a very hot electric burner on my stove with the thumb and forefinger on my left hand. The burn felt like it was going to be pretty bad and was immediately very painful. I put ice on it and called Fire Burn Doctor within about 8 minutes. After getting a call back in just a couple of minutes, I followed the instructions to not use ice and only running room temperature water if needed and to go about my regular routine for the next hour, then call with a report. I did not use water, ice or anything else on it after that. The forefinger had an area turned white and was blistering almost immediately after the burn. The pain decreased steadily over the first hour after talking with you. Initially the pain was about a level 7-8. After the hour it was about 3-4 with moments of about 5. It got much better soon after that and the next morning I had no pain at all!. There are no marks or any indication that my thumb was burned and there is a white area on the forefinger that looked like it should be a blister but it never did actually blister. There is no doubt in my mind that this burn would have been much more severe and painful without your help. Thank you so much!!! Blessings, [Victor].Victor S., Colorado, 1/11/12
Three year old Danny burned his finger when he touched the burner on the stove. His mom called the FireBurnDoctor team within 5 minutes of the burn injury and said that her little boy was crying with a pain level of 8 (on a scale of 0 to 10). When the FBD team called back about 4 minutes later, Danny's pain had already dropped to a 5-6 and his mom said he was "not noticing it right now." When the FBD called again about 6 hours later, Danny's mom said, "Sorry I forgot to call back, he seems perfectly fine, he took a nap right after you called us back. There's no pain and no marks." Ten days later, Danny's mom emailed her report: "On January 14th 2012, [Danny] and my older son were helping me to warm up a pot of beans on the stove. While I turned to grab something, [Danny] accidentally set his left pinky finger on the burner. He was in a lot of pain and we called the burn doctor within 10-15 min. We kept him distracted and within a few minutes he stopped crying and there were no scars on his finger. Thank you and I am grateful for your help."
Danny V., Minnesota, 1/14/12
When a friend in Costa Rica told JC, the FireBurnDoctor filmmaker, about a local baby who had been burned 2 days before with scalding water and was suffering badly on 80% of her body, JC immediately called the FireBurnDoctor for help. The baby's parents had tried to call FBD, but didn't know how to dial out of the country! When the FBD team called JC back, they told her it was too late (WAY past the 30 minutes protocol)... but that "we'll see." When JC called her friend a week later to ask about the baby, she was told "Oh, she's totally fine. Just totally wonderful. Thank you SO much!"
Rosie M., Costa Rica, 1/14/12
Allen was helping his grandmother cook when he burned two fingers on his right hand touching a hot pot. His grandmother immediately called FireBurnDoctor. When the FBD called back less than 5 minutes later, she reported that it was already "not 'ow'" and he was using his hand, whereas before she called he was saying "ow" and not touching anything with his hand. She estimated his pain level had been a 9-10 before, but was already down to a 2-3 (on a scale of 0 to 10). About an hour after her first call, Allen's grandmother called to report: "He's doing fine. You would never know he had touched anything hot. He's running around like crazy, and he's not favoring his fingers at all. So I'd say the pain level is at zero. Thank you so much for your help. I'll send an email straight away." Which she did: "Monday Jan 16, 2012 7:00pm. My grandson [Allen] was helping me cook. At one point, he accidentally touched the edge of the hot pot with his thumb and first finger on his right hand. He kept saying ow and I called fireburndoctor.com. Within minutes of us calling, the pain level went from a 9-10/8-9 to a 2-3. After 15 minutes or so, he was running around playing with his toys and you would never know he had burned himself. Thank you so much for your help!"

Tony burned himself with an iron that he had on the wood stove when he decided to use it to warm up his backside. But the iron slipped and burned his back instead... and he called the FireBurnDoctor. When the FBD team finally reached him, 2 and a half hours after his first call, Tony reported: "I do feel better; the pain is at zero.... The original pain was intense and wouldn't go away, I couldn't ignore it." He said the pain level started at 7-8 (on a scale of 0 to 10), was diminishing within 15 minutes of calling FBD, then went to zero in an hour or less... and thanks again. A few minutes later, Tony he sent his email reportl: "Brief Summary of Burn: I was heating my and my lady-friend's rumps with the flat iron off the woodstove when it slipped onto my bare skin. It was just above the waistline, on the left side of my lower back. Then it hurt, and I was compelled to put cool water on the burn. Then I remembered about that group who pray for your burn. I heard a representative from the group a few years ago on the Jeff Rense Program, and I waited to burn myself and called. I trusted the HIPAA laws the answering machine mentioned and gave them the personal information it requested. Then my burn stopped hurting. I like any group praying to heal burns, and I don't ask any questions. I'm going to get friends to call after they get burned now that I have their number again. I know it by heart: 818-332-6445."

Annie burned her fingertips on the stove burner, but didn't call the FireBurnDoctor until 2 and a half hours later. When the FBD team called her back a few minutes later (around midnight her time), Annie's pain level had already dropped from 7-8 (on a scale of 0 to 10) to 5 in just 3 minutes. She was then able to go to bed. Two days later she reported that she woke up during that first night and noticed her fingers were not hurting. She said the next day there was some tenderness, but no blister developed. It just looked like a callous, and, "It's amazing, Thank you. Looks like it will peel off in a while. Tell the doctor, thank you, he's a God-send.... I'll absolutely tell everyone I know."
Then Annie sent her detailed email report: "Hi - my name is [Annie]. Approximately 48 hours ago, on Sunday night, January 22, I phoned the Burn Doctor, as I had burned my finger tips on my left hand by touching the burner of the electric stove. My finger tips are somewhat calloused, as I play guitar, and I did not realize that my finger tips were on the burner for a couple of seconds. At the time, I also was not aware that I should have called the Burn Doctor within the first half hour after the burn. I figured I'd call in the morning, as I did not want to bother anyone at that time of night (10:15 pm EST). I called approximately 2 hours after the burn. The burn was starting to blister & was beginning to cause me a lot of pain. Pat, whom I spoke with at the hot line, was great. He told me that it was ok to call the hot line at any time. He instructed me to go about my usual routine, and as this was bedtime, to go to bed. I was able to immediately fall asleep, because I noticed that my fingers were not hurting as badly as they were a few minutes ago. I woke up a few hours later (at 3:15 am), and noticed that my fingers did not hurt at all.
In the morning, upon pressing on the burns, I could feel deep tenderness, but no pain, and questionable blistering. During the day yesterday, Monday, I had begun to forget about the burn. Today, I did not even remember getting burned, and by the time I spoke with Pat again (at 10:15 pm Tuesday - 48 hours after the burn), my fingers just had smooth callouses on them, similar to callouses from playing guitar, and I can press on them, while feeling no pain and no blisters, and feel that the nerve endings are not damaged (no deep tenderness). The "callouses" feel as though they will get hard and possibly peel off, similar to the way callouses peel off on guitar playing fingers. At the moment, my finger tips have smooth, shiny "brand iron" marks on them (hard callouses) in the shape of the electric burner coil, similar to a mark that an iron would make if left on clothing. I can press on these marks with my finger nail and feel no pain at all.
Praise God for the Burn Doctor. His gift is truly amazing and I am so grateful for his help and for Pat's help. Thank you again!! Sincerely, (Annie).Annie O., Connecticut, 1/22/12
Nathan tells his own story in an email sent to the FireBurnDoctor team after he burned his finger badly while welding: "On Monday 01-23-2012, while I was working under a welding, I picked up a bolt that had been cut off with a torch. Not realizing it was still HOT, I burned my finger through a hole in my welding gloves. Within 2 minutes I called the burndoctor on my cell phone and left the info required on their answering service. I got a call back in 5 minutes and told them my pain was a 7 out of 10. I went back to work, and after 1 hour I had no pain to report when they called back. A great service was provided and I am thankfull that they were there for me. I am telling everyone I know to try it! Thanks again...."
Nathan P., Virginia, 1/23/12
Terri burned her hand cleaning the stove top, not realizing the burner was still very hot. She called the FireBurnDoctor about 7 minutes later, reporting a pain level of 8 (on a scale of 0 to 10). About an hour later, Terri called again, "to confirm that the pain in my hand has decreased somewhat significantly, I'd say to about a 2 right now. So thank you very much." The next day, Terri called to say she was, "doing great!, just a small red blister. The pain was zero within an hour from the second call."
Terri V., Michigan, 1/23/12
Ralph burned his left forearm sticking a pizza into the oven, leaving a mark 2 inches long by a quarter inch wide. He called the FireBurnDoctor within 3 minutes saying his pain level was 9 (on a scale of 0 to 10). When the FBD team called him back about 5 minutes later, Ralph's pain level had dropped to 7.5. About an hour after that, Ralph called to report: "I would say the pain level is at a 1.5, maybe 1.75, and continuing to go down. Thank you very much. Have a great day." One hour later, Ralph reported the pain was completely gone and had gone to zero 90 minutes after the first call. Ralph S., Newfoundland (CA) 1/24/12
Nicola burned her hand on the oven. Her husband had heard about the FireBurnDoctor from a friend in Germany and called the FireBurnDoctor 10 minutes after the burn injury, taking care to spell clearly her name and place of birth. When the FBD team called back about 5 minutes later, Nicola's pain had already dropped from a 5 (on a scale of 0 to 10), to a 3. Two and a half hours later, her husband reported that she was, "better, definitely better" with a pain level of 1.5. The next morning, Nicola's husband emailed: "Thanks for your help yesterday. Her pain level is less than 1 today and she said that compared to previous experiences with these types of burns, the pain went away much quicker this time. She didn't believe it before, but she is certainly starting to now. Best regards."
Nicola B., Czechoslovakia, 2/2/12
Olivia got burned when the head of a match embedded itself in her finger. She knew it was a minor burn, but when the pain started going up her arm and she was worried because she needs both her hands for her profession, she called the FireBurnDoctor. When the FBD team called her back, Olivia's pain level had already dropped from a 2 (on a scale of 0 to 10) to a 1 within 5 minutes... and her first comment was, "My heroes! I've got your number everywhere in my house."
Two and a half hours later, Olivia called to report her surprising experience: "It's so wierd because I've called you before for other burns that were much worse, and those go away totally, like within a few minutes almost. And this is, you know, I'm still feeling it. I just wanted to tell you that the dead skin, it was so dead that I could pinch it, and it rose up from my finger, and it has gone back! It looks like it's going to be living. That's pretty remarkable. It's like, you know, having an apendectomy and feeling the canker sore on the inside of your lip and not feeling the apendectomy. So it's really funny, even though it's really tiny, tiny little burn, it [laughter] seems to be hanging on. But not to worry; I know that it's working because I can observe the cellular change in the tissue, so thank you so very much."
Three minutes later, Olivia called again to say: "Hey,... this is just amazing! because, [laughter] just since the last time I called you, it's totally, totally, pain is gone. Jeez, amazing! And, you know that site that was dead skin, that's melding back together. There was a little yellow when I talked to you before. It's all pink now, and it's wierd! There is the strange lingering sensation under my right index fingernail which almost feels good for me to press on it, which is wierd because it's totally away from the point of where the burn was. You know, inside my tummy, I just feel so grateful for you guys doing what you do. Even though it's tiny and insignificant, this teeny spot on my finger. It just reminds me. I've memorized your number in case I ever need it for something that I run across out in the world. And maybe if for nothing else that it stays fresh in my memory to have this tiny, insignificant thing happen to me. But it's very significant to know that the pain is totally gone and my skin is all pink and non-affected. Thank you so much, I so appreciate you guys."
Then later that day, Olivia faithfully reported her whole story: "I fought my own thinking, 'Surely I can endure this silly little burn on the tip of my finger?' Times before I had experienced instantaneous healing and witnessed others who had burns healing 'in front of our very eyes.'The infinitessimal piece of match head that broke away from the match and embedded itself in my right forefinger tip, had burned through the vulnerable top layer of skin. For fifteen minutes I poo-pooed the idea of calling in my burn to the Fireburn Doctor...'Why waste his/their time in my puny little burn that will heal just fine in two weeks"?
Pain started coming up my arm. Finally, the part of me that allows good things to happen in my life won...and I called in to the number which I had memorized. 818 332 6445. The helper called me back shortly. I told him the pain had receded back down my arm but was still poignant in the tip of my finger. I called back within the hour at his request. The pain was still lurking in my tip, which I reported. By the time the helper called back, that pain had also diminished. He explained that the reason to call within 30 minutes is before our brain has taken over to "set" the reaction.
I am so glad I called. The skin that was white and dead and separated up from the surrounding living tissue, had all gone back into the flesh state. It was yellow/pink and no longer white. Now it's just shiney, but all pink. It feels good to pinch and squeeze the tip of that finger now, whereas before it was raw feeling. I applaud this man/ these folks who assist him, and the principal behind which heals. What a good, good thing you do in this world."Olivia C., Texas, 2/8/12
Ingrid spilled boiling soup onto the top of her fingertips on both hands. Thanks to her mom telling her the FBD phone number, she was able to call the FireBurnDoctor within 7 minutes giving a pain level of 8 to 9 (on a scale of 0 to 10). When the FBD team called her back, just 3 minutes later, her pain had dropped to 6. An hour and a half after that, Ingred called to report that, "It feels a lot better now, and I would say it's not even pain anymore, just kind of like a light tingling sensation. It's not even painful, but if I had to rate the intensity of sensation, it would probably be at a 1 or a 2. I really, really appreciate whatever it is that you did. Thank you very much. The redness went away. And that's about all that I can describe. Thank you."
Ingrid M., New York, 2/10/12
Around 2:00 in the morning, Eric was up stoking the fireplace when he burned his arm on the hot metal. He called FireBurnDoctor within 15 minutes of the burn saying his pain level was 5 (on a scale of 0 to 10) and that it wasn't a third degree burn, but it did take some skin off. The next morning, Eric called in to report, "Good morning... This is my call back after waking up from the burn. Thank you for your help. It's pain free... comfortable to the touch." Two days later, Eric emailed his testimony: " Hello, I was putting wood in the fire place before ending my night. When all of a sudden I touched the hot metal of the stove with my forearm by the soft part of the wrist. The searing noise was not a welcome sound as I quickly pulled my arm away. The skin was immediately melted away and I knew this was a bad one. Even though it was just a tiny area (1/2" x 1/4") it was painful. I have called the Burndoctor before, because my daughter burned herself and I used the Burndoctor with great results. I made the call after tending to the missing melted skin and putting some fresh aloe vera on it. I did as the message stated at the Fire burn doctors number and a return call came within a few minutes to verify the facts. I then went to bed after receiving the call. The morning came and I noticed the burn had a scab on it from the loss of skin, but it did not have the burn feeling. ...Just a painless little scab. Thank You!"Eric R., Oregon, 2/17/12
Larry was lighting a water heater when it back-flashed on him, burning his hair ("pretty badly") and his arm. He called the FireBurnDoctor 18 minutes after the burn saying his pain level was 2-3 (on a scale of 0 to 10). When the FBD team called him back 3 minutes later, his pain was already cut in half, to a 1 or 2. About an hour later, Larry called to report that, "The pain is pretty much gone. I feel like 5 or 10 minutes after we spoke, maybe a little longer, I felt a cooling sensation on my arm. And much later I felt it on my fingers. I guess I was in more pain than I thought. Anyway, thank you. I appreciate you." At that point, Larry also re-assessed his original pain levels, saying his arm and fingers had actually been 3-4 (on a scale of 0 to 10) and his scalp had been a 2-3.
The next day, Larry sent an extensive email with his amazing experience: "I was lighting a hot water heater that was improperly labeled and a rush of flame covered my hand and arm and flew up into my face and hair. I heard the sizzling as the flame spread around the outside of my sweater. I was dazed and went upstairs to see how bad the damage had been. I had seared off some of my eyelashes, eyebrows, and hair. The hair on my arm was completely gone, as was the hair on my knuckles. I had burned my hand, fingers, forearm, face, and head.
After a few moments a burning sensation began on my hand, arm, and my face. I didn't notice it much at first, like when you get cut but it doesn't hurt because you don't see it. I'd heard of the burn doctor a year or so ago, put his number in my phone in case, and decided this was the time to call. The call back was prompt and business-like. 'Why did you wait so long to call me?' the burn doctor asked. Honestly, I didn't think my injury warranted the care, but that's my own problem.
I was reading, as a cooling sensation began on my arm, not five minutes after we spoke. I looked down at my arm, and said, "No...It couldn't be." The cooling sensation felt like cold, arctic air in that one spot applied molecule by molecule. I can't explain it. I realized my burn was a lot more significant than I had thought. The cooling spread to my fingers and then up to my face.
Even as I write, there is a cooling sensation on my arm and fingers, continuing. I can still see the effects of the burning on my skin, slightly, and there's a lesson somewhere in having my hair burnt off, but clearly the effect of the application of the burn doctor's work on my injury is very helpful in dealing with the pain and the healing.
I would call the burn doctor first, if, heaven please forbid, I ever have a burn event again."Larry A., Connecticut, 2/21/12
Harold burned his pinky finger on the stove burner and called the FireBurnDoctor about 25 later with a pain level of 6 (on a scale of 0 to 10). The next morning, Harold left a voice message to report: "The pain is about a 1. I had a pretty good size blister, it had started to blister. The blister is almost gone, I hardly have any sign of it. This was a really effective treatment, and thank you." When the FBD team called him back a few minutes later, Harold's pain was zero.
Six days later, Harold texted his gratitude: "I am writing on behalf of the Fire Burn Doctor Team. My family and I have used this exceptionally helpful service several times over the past few years. On each occasion I've called, they have been professional, thorough and to the point. No matter the time of day or night, they've always been consistent in answering our calls and following up with us. Thankfully, we have yet to have a scar from any burn that we have called on. On one occasion, while barbecuing in the backyard over an open fire, my son had stepped on a very hot grate. I could actually hear a sizzle as my son stepped down on the grate. I immediately called the burn doctor. An hour or two later my son out of the blue said 'my foot doesn't hurt anymore.' Thank you again, Fire Burn Doctor Team. Harold and family"Harold V., Minnesota, 2/22/12
Rachel burned her thumb with steam while cooking one morning. Having personally met the FireBurnDoctor filmmaker, she knew exactly what to do and called the FireBurnDoctor immediately after the burn. At that time, her pain level was 7 (on a scale of 0 to 10). When the FBD team called her back just 4 minutes later, Rachel's pain had already dropped to a 4. Astonished, she said, "gosh, so much better, it's already feeling better!" The next afternoon, when the FBD team called again for feedback, Rachel apologized for not calling sooner, and reported: "My thumb is totally better, 100%, no pain at all!"
Rachel Z., Costa Rica, 2/22/12
Randy, a career firefighter, was off duty doing some welding at home when he grabbed hot metal with unprotected fingers. A friend was on hand who had the FireBurnDoctor number in her phone and texted his information within 15 minutes. At that point, Randy's pain level was a 4 (on a scale of 0 to 10). The next day when Randy called with feedback, the pain was zero: "Hi, this is [Randy] from yesterday. I had a small burn on my finger. And anyways, it's pain free. Thank you very much."
A reminder to firefighters around the world: YOU CAN HELP many MANY people just by keeping the FireBurnDoctor phone number in your own cell phone and calling or texting immediately when someone is burned.
Randy C., California, 2/22/12
Alicia touched a pan fresh out of a 350 degree oven with bare skin and immediately called the FireBurnDoctor, saying "it may be a minor burn, but just in case, I'm not going to be foolish." When the FBD team called her back a few minutes later to confirm the information, everyone was shocked to find out that her pain level (which had been a 7-8 on a scale of 0 to 10) had already disappeared. Gratefully, Alicia said, "Already zero, thank you very much. I'm following all your updates on the website!"
Alicia T., California, 2/23/12
Carol accidentally poured freshly-boiled scalding water all over her left hand and called the FireBurnDoctor within a few minutes. When the FBD team called her back a few minutes later, she said her pain level was 10 (on a scale of 0 to 10). Since this was her second time using FBD for a burn, Carol already knew what to do: Go about her business and call back with the results.
Three hours later, Carol emailed her detailed report: "Today I was home with a bad cold. At around 2:30 PM, I went over to pick up the boiling tea kettle to make myself a cup of tea. The sweater I was wearing got caught on the stove somehow and the result was as I went to pour the boiling water in the cup, it in fact went all over on top of my left hand. I had called Fireburndoctor.com before and had good results, so I called within a few minutes of this burn. Since I was not feeling well from my cold, there really wasn't a lot I could do to keep my mind off of it, but I proceeded to do some light house work. The pain level in the beginning was around 9 or 10. It was really shocking to my system. I even dropped the cup. After 15 or 20 minutes of calling Fireburndoctor.com the pain dropped substantially. I felt like it was about to go away completely.
Then I'm not sure why but it flared up again pretty badly. Not quite as bad as initially, but close. I waited for 25 minutes or so and really just tried to occupy my mind with something else. The pain level started to go down again and it didn't feel as terrible, but not as well as in the first 20 minutes. I was due for a call back to Fireburndoctor.com and reported that the flareup had occurred and that there was a discolored spot the size of a quarter on my hand as well as a fair amount of burning. Maybe a 5. I reached for an ice pack which only made it worse. I made another attempt to get my mind off of it. Again, since I was stuck in the house not feeling well, I opened the laptop and started surfing. After a while, maybe a half hour or so, I noticed the pain dropped to almost nothing. I felt a strong sensation of my hand radiating heat outward (like a radiator), but it did not hurt. The discolored marks subsided fairly well. I got up to do a couple things, and I noticed my flesh is still sensitive there like if I accidentally brush it up against something. Very small flare ups occur from that light brushing, but they don't last long....
Now after 3 1/2 hours it is not hurting, nor is it discolored, nor is it radiating any heat. Every now and then it feels a little "prickly", but it doesn't last. Perhaps the skin is still sensitive, but in any case I'm thankful to not be in pain. Thank you so much. What a wonderful service to relieve others of pain. Thank you again."
