"The worst burn I ever had...."
Michael burned his fingers on a very hot plate and called the FireBurnDoctor within 12 minutes. When the FBD team called him back 13 minutes later, Michael said his pain level was 9 (on the scale of 0 to 10), and had already dropped to 7 or 8. When the FBD team reached him the next morning, Michael said he was "much better. I did as you said and took my mind off it, watched TV, spoke with my girlfriend. This morning there's a big blister, but no pain at all, almost non-existent, I'd have to think about it to notice an irritation. That was by far the worst burn I've ever had, scary actually. Thank you very much."
The next day, Michael emailed his report: "Yesterday I burned my thumb and forefinger after picking up a piping hot plate that was on the stove. I held onto the plate for a couple of seconds so the burn was severe and by far the worst burn I have ever experienced, pain was at a level 9. I immediately phoned the FireBurnDoctor and he phoned me back within fifteen minutes. I followed his instructions and spoke to him an hour later by which time the pain had subsided to a level of 7. For the rest of the evening, I followed his instructions to the letter and the level of pain continued to diminish. I was able to get to sleep and when I woke up the pain was almost non-existent and was down to a level of 1. Thank you for helping me during this episode of distress. I strongly suggest that people put the FBD number in their phone just in case an unfortunate burn is around the corner. Many thanks."

"Just gone... zero pain!"
Dorian burned his fingers on melting nylon rope and called the FireBurnDoctor within 13 minutes. When the FBD team called him back 4 minutes later, Dorian said his pain level was 7-8 (on the scale of 0 to 10). An hour later, he called back to say hat his pain had dropped a little, to 7, and told the FBD team member that he had not given his accurate name previously. He thanked us for the effort, and asked us to process the new name. When the FBD team reached Dorian 4 days later, he said that two hours after the burn, his pain was down to 4, and then "in another 1-2 hours, it was just gone. No sensation at all. Zero pain. It did blister, I popped it, and it's healing very nicely."
One week later, Dorian emailed his report: "I burned my finger by touching the end of a plastic rope I had melted. The burning plastic stuck to my finger till I could get to water. I had heard about the Fire Burn Doctor team and so I called and left my information. They immediately called me back to confirm my information. The pain did reduce somewhat over the hour, but by after the third hour the pain was completely gone and healing has been speedy. Thank you all for your assistance!"

Hip badly burned on the furnace...
Ian burned his hip on the hot furnace and called the FireBurnDoctor team within 14 minutes. When the FBD team called him back 3 minutes later, Ian said his pain level was 9 (on the scale of 0 to 10) when he first called, and that it's "starting to mellow out, down to 2 - it's kind of gone!" An hour and a half later, Ian called to say, "It's doing really good." When the FBD team called him back 4 minutes later, he said there was no pain unless his shirt or pants rubbed against it, right at the belt line, then the pain went to 1-2. Two hours after that, Ian called again to say, "Looks like everything's kind of gone away. Just a little red spot. Thank you," adding that there was zero pain, and that his "pants hold up and I don't feel anything. Thank you."

"I'm extremely impressed... no pain!"
Amanda burned her wrist on the metal grate of a toaster oven and called the FireBurnDoctor within 10 minutes. When the FBD team called her back 4 minutes later, Amanda said her pain level was 7 (on the scale of 0 to 10), and had already dropped to 3 or 4, adding now it's "more annoying than anything." When the FBD team reached her 2 days later, Amanda said, "I'm extremely impressed. It was soft tissue. Now there's no pain. It went to zero within 2-3 hours.
Nine days later, Amanda emailed her report: "While I was cooking last week, hot metal dropped onto the inside of my left wrist. It definitely was on its way to be painful and blistered. I called Fireburndoctor. The pain was initially a radiating sensation. It started to diminish right away. By the first hour the pain was completely diminished. Absolutely there should have been a very tender blister. There is nothing on my wrist. Thank you so much. In Well-Being."

Walden burned the palm of his hand with boiling water and called the FireBurnDoctor within 9 minutes. When the FBD team called him back 3 minutes later, Walden said his pain level had been 3 (on the scale of 0 to 10), and already dropped to 1. When the FBD team reached him about 10 hours later, Walden said, "Everything is fine. You can't even tell I'd ever been burned. Zero pain within an hour, a little over an hour. I'm impressed. No cuts, etc., and this was a bad burn, freshly boiled water. It's astounding. It was bad, I mean bad. I felt sure there'd be problems for a long time. How did you do that? Steven burned the palm of his hand moving a grill at work and called the FireBurnDoctor within 30 minutes. When the FBD team called back about 5 minutes later, Steven said his pain level had been 10 (on the scale of 0 to 10) and had now dropped to 8. Two hours later, Steven left a message to say he was "doing great, awesome!" When the FBD team called him right back, Steven said the skin was, "slightly tight. It doesn't hurt at all. Completely gone, thank you."
Eight days later, Steven emailed his report: "I am a manager at a fast food chain. I was closing one night and burned the palm of my right hand on accident. About 25-30 minutes after the incident had happened, I placed a call to the FireBurnDoctor my parents had told me about and left my info. Within 5 minutes he had returned my call and asked me for the rest of my info, and by this time my pain level had gone from a 10 to a strong 8. An hour after I got off the phone with him, the pain was gone. Still tender to heat, but I was able to finish my shift that night with no issues. The next day there was barely a blister. I was very pleased with this experience and have already handed over the doctor's number to multiple employees. Thanks again doc!"

Pain a 5 and rising....
"Howard burned the palm of his hand on a hot stove burner and called the FireBurnDoctor within 10 minutes. When the FBD team called him back 4 minutes later, Howard said his pain level had been "5 and rising" (on the scale of 0 to 10) when he first called, and had already dropped to 3, adding it was "real tingly." An hour later, Howard called back to say: "My burn has gone from a level 4 to a level 1. I can barely feel it. It's looking pretty good. Just barely there. Just a little tingle."

Total skeptic turns believer
Andrew burned his arms with hot iron filings from grinding steel and called the FireBurnDoctor within 30 minutes. When the FBD team called him back 7 minutes later, Andrew said his pain level had been 5 (on the scale of 0 to 10) and had already dropped to zero. When the FBD team called him hour and a half later, Andrew said: "Amazingly, now that I'm noticing, there's nothing, no pain, crazy, amazing. Thanks a lot. I really appreciate it."
Two and a half months later Andrew emailed his report: "Hearing about the FireBurnDoctor was a weird coincidence. I was at a red carpet event of all places, Fuel for the Fallen, honoring rescue volunteers who were injured in the line of duty, when I first heard of The FireBurnDoctor. During the evening someone started telling me about an experience that they had. They were burned on a stove and then they called the FBD. By the end of the phone call, they were already feeling better. Within a few hours, it was as if they were never burned at all. I was thinking "Ok freaky... next". They handed me a slip of paper with the number on it. Freakier. Fine. I put it in my pocket to be nice. The very next day, I had occasion to grind some metal. I know, random, right? Anyway, I wasn't wearing gloves and was exposed to the red-hot castoffs. My hand was burned and started to blister. I started laughing as I thought about the night before. I hadn't been burned in years and here I am one day later with burn blisters on my hand. Perfect time to expose a stupid hocus-pocus fraud. I dialed the number, got a machine and left a message. Here's where it gets weird. My hand stopped hurting by about 70% almost immediately after leaving the message. About 10 minutes later I received a call from the FireBurnDoctor. He asked me a few questions. Then he asked how much pain I was still feeling from the burn. I shit you not. The blisters and the pain were completely gone. Gone. I even tried scratching the area to re-invigorate the injury. Nothing. I don't know why, I don't know how, it was as if the burn never happened. I can't explain it, but as of right now, I'm a believer. By the way, I hate freaky stuff like this that I can't explain, but I have his number saved on my phone.

"This really works"
Roger burned his hand with boiling water from his car radiator and called the FireBurnDoctor within 10 miutes. When the FBD team called him back 10 minutes later, Roger said his pain level had been 7-8 (on the scale of 0 to 10), had now dropped to 2, and then by the end of the call, to "almost nothing, 1!" An hour later, Roger called back to say: "My pain level is between a 0 to a 2, it fluctuates a little. It goes back and forth, then back down to a 1 or a zero. Looking a lot better. Thank you." When the FBD team called him back an hour after that, Roger said his pain was "zero. It feels great, I haven't noticed, haven't even thought about it," adding that it went to zero an hour and a half after the time of the burn.
A few hours after the burn, Roger posted on a popular website: "This really works! I scalded the 1st three fingers of my right hand when I opened the radiator cap on my stepson's truck while doing some troubleshooting on the engine, and of course got sprayed with hot coolant! After going into the house to cool off my now throbbing hand under cold running water, I remembered the FireBurnDoctor phone number I stored in my cell phone a couple of years ago. I figured I had nothing to lose by calling. I left the required info on the message, and before I could head back outside I felt a cooling sensation on my now red and slightly blistered fingers. The pain would subside and return less each time with the cooling sensation.... FireBurnDoctor returned my call and asked how my hand was feeling. I told him the pain had subsided down to a 1 or 3 from 7 or 8 on a scale of 1 or 10. I followed his instruction to just continue on with my normal activities. A couple hours later he called back to check on my progress. I was very surprised that I'd forgotten about the burn on my hand. It had completely healed and the small blisters were gone! This really works!"

Wonderful, Just wonderful. Thanks." When the FBD team called her back 3 minutes later, she said that within 5 minutes of talking to the FBD team, "there was a tingling sensation and no pain."

"I love you guys"
Nora burned her fingers grabbing a very hot rack at work and called the FireBurnDoctor within 20 minutes. When the FBD team called her back 5 minutes later, Nora said her pain level had been 9 (on the scale of 0 to 10), and had now dropped to 5. About 40 minutes later, Nora called back to say: "My fingers are feeling really good. They're not even tight or anything. I'm doing really well, and I will post this on the site. I've got you in my favorites and I've got you covered. You have a great day. Thank you." When the FBD team reached her again 2 hours later, Nora said her pain had gone to zero in an hour and a half. "I am doing great, feeling pretty good, no tightness, thank you! I'm doing everything I normally would do."
The next morning Nora emailed her report: "The second time for me burning myself and calling the burn doctor. I had grabbed a hot wire rack and burned three of my fingers. I was at work at the time and called, gave him the info needed and waited for his call back. The pain was about a 10 at first, and after getting his call back it went down to a 2. I was able to finish my shift at work – just amazing. I love you guys."

"It's a heck of a lot better"
Patrick burned his fingers on a hot pipe at work and called the FireBurnDoctor within 15 minutes. When the FBD team called him back 3 minutes later, Patrick said his pain level had been 9-9.5 (on the scale of 0 to 10), and had already dropped to 8. An hour and a half later Patrick called back to say: "It seems to be working. I'd say the level is down to 1 or a 2 on my left hand. I appreciate it. It flares up if I bump it or use it. But it is a heck of a lot better, so thank you very much."
One month later Patrick emailed his report: "A few weeks back I really did burn myself across all four of my left hand fingers. To be brief, I called the FireBurnDoctor, and within 15 minutes or so the pain was gone. The only feeling I had was like superglue had dried where the burns were. That lasted about a day, then after a few days I was back to normal. This is my second experience with the Doc, I can assure you it does work. Thanks again Doc!"

Samuel burned his hand on a red hot pot and called the FireBurnDoctor within 15 minutes. When the FBD team called him back 2 minutes later, Samuel said his pain level had been 10 (on the scale of 0 to 10), and had already dropped to 2-3, adding: "It had been a 2nd-3rd degree burn, and to be honest, it's dropped considerably as we're speaking." Samuel said he had the hand in cold water ever since the burn, but had taken it out of water during this call, saying, "I don't want to sound silly, now it's down to 1." He called back an hour later to say, "The pain's gone to 0 or maybe 1-2 just to remind me it's there every few seconds or minutes. Also what looked like 3 blisters that were going to form have basically been eliminated. It looks normal except for the twisted skin. I'm going to say the pain is at a 1 or 2, probably average a 1. Thank you so much, and I wish you well."
Two days later Samuel emailed his report: "Dear Burn Doctor, Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. This is Samuel with my final update on my recent call to you concerning the bad burn on my left hand from grabbing a red hot pot. As of today, I no longer have ANY signs of any burn. No scars, no blisters, nothing. My hand is as though it never happened. I only wish your site had a donate button. If you do have other sites with such an option kindly reply with the address so I may contribute to your good and caring works."

Baby badly burned....
Two-year-old Rosemary was very badly burned when a pan of boiling water tipped on her from the stove. Her dad called the FireBurnDoctor within 15 minutes. When the FBD team called him back 7 minutes later, Rosemary's father said her pain level had been 8-9 (on the scale of 0 to 10) and had already dropped to 6, adding that she had been burned on her shoulder, base of neck and back, and spots on her scalp. The burned areas were red and swollen with blistering. By the end of this callback, Rosemary's dad said her pain level was now at 2, but his wife wanted to take their daughter to the hospital anyway. Two hours and 20 minutes later, Rosemary's dad called to say, "I apologize for not doing the 1 hour follow-up. I dropped my wife and daughter off at the emergency room and had to go pick up my other son. But I'm calling you back now. [Rosemary] is resting comfortably right now. She is asleep. The doctors and nurses at the emergency room remarked she was in good spirits. And that she's reacting remarkably to the amount of burns she's got there, and they went up the back of her head and scalp. But they sent us home, discharged! And, like I say, she's great, and her pain level I'd say is probably at a one. There is some second degree swelling. I haven't seen her burns since I called about 2 hours ago. Thanks again." When the FBD team called back 6 minutes later, Rosemary's dad said the burns were covered, hadn't seen them in 2 hours, but she's sleeping comfortably now and was not given any pain medication, adding again that she's in "very good spirits." When the FBD team called back 4 hours later, Rosmary''s dad described her as "ultra normal! I mean, she's in no pain whatsoever. She's acting as if it never happened! Her spirits are great!"
The next day Rosemary's dad emailed his report: "Hello there FBD team, Please find some photos attached of her burn at various times in the last 24 hours. The images are named appropriately for timeline purposes. I don't have many but hopefully they can be helpful. [Rosemary] woke up in a good mood this morning and appears to have slept peacefully for most of the night. We would describe her pain level as 0-1 right now. She has not made any indication or gesture towards the burn since getting up this morning, it's as though it never happened. Thank-you again to the group at large for all you do."

“This individual would have died were it not for FireBurnDoctor.”
"My name is [Steve] and I have used the services of Fireburndoctor three times. The second time it was not for me or somebody I know, I wanted to help an injured person. I was returning to my home in Colorado following a full day in on a fall evening 2013. It was about 10 pm and I exited the highway and about 3/4 of a mile south of that intersection I encountered a car accident with Sheriffs and firemen in attendance. The wrecked vehicle had caught fire, the driver was badly burned. The fire department controlled the fire and removed the driver from the vehicle. When I passed, they were transporting the driver from the vehicle to an ambulance, on a stretcher (one of those stretcher-gurney units with wheels). He was smoldering. I could see a large patch of burned flesh (on his right side below the shoulder above the hip) showing through his clothing where the clothing was burned away. Because I am not law enforcement, or a fireman. I never got out of my vehicle or asked any questions. Instead, I pulled into the shopping center south of the occurrence, pulled out my cell phone and called fireburndoctor.
When speaking with the FBD team I supplied the time and place of the occurrence, apparent magnitude of the burn together with the make of the wrecked vehicle and the fact that the victim apparently was the driver. The FBD team member informed me that the information supplied was insufficient for real action. I asked him to "try anyway". "What we've got is what we've got and all we're going to get". If we fail, he's no worse off than if we never tried." The FBD team agreed to "Give it a Shot". The next day I called the fire department, indicated that I was curious about the condition of the burned individual. I stressed that I had no personal stake in the situation and did not want to know the name of the victim, just his general condition/prognosis. The lady with whom I spoke asked me to wait a moment, then came back and informed me that his injuries looked a lot worse than they really were as he had been released to go home from the hospital that morning. In my opinion this individual would have died were it not for fireburndoctor. The foregoing is true to the best of my knowledge and recollection."

Burned by the lighter

When the FBD team called her back 5 minutes later, Yolanda said her pain was at 9 (on the scale of 0 to 10). When the FBD team reached her the next morning, she said it was "really good. There was zero pain last night. "I went down to 2 about an hour after the callback, and was at zero before I went to bed."

Boiling chicken broth....
Lily burned her mouth with boiling chicken broth and called the FireBurnDoctor within 10 minutes. When the FBD team called her back, Lily said her pain level was 6 (on the scale of 0 to 10) when she first called, and had already dropped to 5, adding that her "entire mouth was burnt. I killed every taste bud in my mouth." When the FBD team reached her the next afternoon, Lily said her pain was down to 1 or numbness. She had woken up 4 hours after the burn "with hurting tongue" and thought, "well, just accept or receive what ever is being done on my behalf, not that I understand it, but just accept it, and it calmed right down and I went back to sleep." The next evening Lily emailed that her pain is "barely noticeable" anymore. "Thanks BurnDoc."
The next day Lily emailed her report: "Last night's chicken noodle soup required lots of seasoning and lots of taste tests. It took a while to get this particular batch just right. With hungry children running around, I decided to try the broth one last time before announcing mealtime. Only this time, when a child bumped into me, instead of blowing on the spoonful of broth I hurriedly gulped it down before it spilled. Just one tablespoon of boiling chicken broth burned my entire mouth and down my throat. Every taste bud was painfully numb. Within 10 minutes I called the burn doctor and left a message. I got a call back almost immediately, and I agreed to do absolutely nothing. No anbesol, ice cubes or essential oils, just wait it out. And so I did. I did nothing at all. Around 1 AM I awoke with a throbbing pain in my tongue, but I still resolved to do nothing except that I decided to say to myself, "I receive the assistance of the FireBurnDoctor." The pain immediately settled and by morning the pain was less than half. A mere 4 out of 10. And tonight it's barely noticeable; maybe a 1. Now I admit, burning my entire mouth is not a common practice for me, but I do remember a couple decades ago when I drank hot cocoa at the ski resort and horribly burned only my tongue, it still took more than a week, maybe two, to taste things again back then. By comparison, this method of healing was far more desirable. Thanks BurnDoc."

Barbecued leg!
Eric burned the back of his leg on a BBQ pit and called the FireBurnDoctor about 1 minutes after the burn. When the FBD team called him back 3 minutes later, Eric said his pain level had been 8 (on the scale of 0 to 10) when he first called, and had already dropped to 4. The next day Eric said there was no blistering and as usual, he was wearing blue jeans to work. In the evening he emailed to say: "I have no complaints. Thanks for all the help."
The next evening Eric emailed his report: "It was Easter morning with beautiful weather in the mid 70's. I went early to help my younger brother host his first family gathering at his new home. We expected around 30 family members. Main course was barbecuing chicken and burgers. We had two pits going. One was a smaller Old Smokey. While I was basting the chicken, I walked around the side of the big pit and backed right up against the small pit. I didn't think anything about it because we had several dogs running around with the children. So standing in shorts I left the back of my calf muscle sizzle for a second or two. I immediately thought of the FireBurnDoctor. I have it listed in my contacts as "BURNS BURNS". I left the required info and my call was returned within 10 minutes. They asked me to go about my normal routine. So I returned to the grill and tried not to think about it. Although my family and I did look at it a few times. The pain started at a level of 8 and quickly dropped to 4. By noon I definitely forgot about the burn. I drove home around 2 pm and took a shower and noticed no pain. I do have a nice 2" dot with 2 horizontal lines about 4" long. It is a dark pink color. No blistering and today is Monday. As usual I wear my blue jeans to work. This evening I have no complaints and with a return phone call from the doctor I was informed that the burn marks should fade soon. Thanks for all the help."

"Aftermath has made me a strong believer"
Tiffany burned her palm on a cast iron skillet and called the FireBurnDoctor within 6 minutes. When the FBD team called her back 3 minutes later, Tiffany described the imprint the hot handle made on her hand and said her initial panicked reaction had been to grab a slab of butter. When the FBD team suggested she do normal activities, she asked, "So I should let go of the butter?" When Tiffany did, she noticed that the pain had "gone down severely, to a 1 now." The next morning Tiffany called back, 16 hours later, to say: "Basically, I followed what you suggested and the pain was relieved within a couple minutes completely. Today it's pretty much red, still shiny, a little discoloration in center of palm, but it doesn't seem infected. It's pretty flush with the normal layer of skin on the palm. It seems to be doing fine, hasn't blistered or opened. Thank you, have a good day."
Two days later, Tiffany posted on a public profile on FB: "So a few years back, I went with [my friend] to The Los Angeles Conscious Life Expo. I met this lovely lady by the name of Jane Clements. She resembled Tilda Swinton, and had a certain grace to her. She was promoting a documentary about FBD, and shared a number to add into my contacts in case of a burn... [When this burn happened, I called.] It sure is amazing to have had first hand experience. Not to say that I enjoyed getting burned, but the aftermath has made me a strong believer!"

Three fingers burned on the fireplace
Nick burned his fingers on the fireplace and texted his details to the FireBurnDoctor soon afterwards. When the FBD team called him back 2 minutes later, Nick said his pain level had been 8 (on the scale of 0 to 10) when he first texted, adding, "Oh, it's feeling better, now it's a 5." Four and a half hours later, Nick emailed his report: "When I called you the pain was at about an 8. Right after we hung up, the pain was down to a 5. About 30 minutes later the pain shot up again to an 8 then another 30 mins later the pain was almost at 0. Thanks for you help."
